These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the National Glazing Solutions Ltd website and the purchase of products through our online store.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order.

By using our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, Delivery Information and Guarantee & Warranty.

1. About Us

National Glazing Solutions Ltd is referred to in these Terms & Conditions as “we”, “us”, “our” or “National Glazing Solutions”.

The person placing an order through our website is referred to as “you”, “your” or “the customer”.

These Terms & Conditions apply to products purchased directly through our website.

2. Website Ordering

Our website allows customers to configure eligible doors and windows and place orders directly online.

When configuring a product, you may be asked to select or provide information including:

  • Product type
  • Width and height
  • Colour and finish
  • Configuration
  • Number of panels
  • Opening direction
  • Glazing specification
  • Handles and hardware
  • Threshold
  • Cill
  • Other available product options

You are responsible for carefully checking all information entered during the configuration and checkout process before completing your order.

3. Formation of the Contract

When you place an order through our website, you are submitting an order to purchase the selected product or products.

Your order is subject to acceptance by National Glazing Solutions Ltd.

An order confirmation will normally be provided following successful completion of the ordering process.

We reserve the right to contact you if there is an issue with your order, including an apparent pricing error, technical error, unavailable product, incorrect specification or other issue that prevents us from fulfilling the order as placed.

Where an order cannot be accepted, we will contact you and, where appropriate, arrange a refund of payments already made.

4. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

However, product images are provided primarily for illustrative purposes.

The appearance of colours, finishes, glass and other materials may vary depending on:

  • Lighting conditions
  • Photography
  • Computer and mobile device displays
  • Screen settings
  • Manufacturing batches
  • Natural material characteristics

A small difference between an image displayed on our website and the finished product does not necessarily indicate a defect.

Where technical specifications are important to your project, please refer to the relevant product information before placing your order.

5. Made-to-Measure Products

Many products supplied by National Glazing Solutions Ltd are manufactured specifically according to the dimensions and specifications selected by the customer. Made-to-measure products may include:

  • Aluminium doors
  • Aluminium windows
  • uPVC doors
  • uPVC windows
  • Composite doors
  • Bifold doors
  • Other products manufactured to customer specifications

Because these products are manufactured specifically for an individual order, cancellation and return rights may differ from those applicable to standard, non-personalised goods.

Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for further information.

6. Customer Measurements

Where you provide measurements for a made-to-measure product, you are responsible for ensuring that those measurements are accurate and suitable for the intended installation.

We strongly recommend that measurements are checked by a suitably competent person before placing an order.

You should carefully check:

  • Width
  • Height
  • Opening size
  • Finished floor level
  • Structural opening
  • Required clearance
  • Any relevant installation tolerances

If we manufacture a product in accordance with the measurements and specifications supplied or approved by you, we may not be responsible for problems caused solely by incorrect customer measurements.

This does not affect your statutory rights where the product is faulty, incorrectly manufactured or does not correspond with the agreed specification.

7. Product Configuration

The options displayed during the online configuration process are dependent on the selected product.

Not every option is available for every product or size.

You are responsible for checking your selected configuration before completing the order.

This includes checking:

  • Product type
  • Colour
  • Finish
  • Dimensions
  • Panel arrangement
  • Opening direction
  • Glazing
  • Hardware
  • Threshold
  • Cill
  • Other selected options

8. Manufacturing Drawings and Specifications

Where applicable, we may provide a manufacturing specification, drawing or other order information for confirmation.

You should carefully review any such information and notify us immediately if you identify an error.

Particular attention should be given to:

  • Measurements
  • Opening direction
  • Handing
  • Configuration
  • Glazing
  • Hardware
  • Colour
  • Threshold
  • Cill
  • Other product options

Production may proceed once the required specification has been confirmed or approved.

Once manufacturing has started, changes may no longer be possible.

9. Changes to Orders

If you need to change an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will consider change requests before production begins.

Once a made-to-measure product has entered production, changes may no longer be possible because the product may already have been manufactured specifically to your requirements.

Any change that can be accommodated may affect the price and/or estimated production and delivery times.

10. Cancellation

Cancellation rights depend on the type of product and the circumstances of the order.

Where a product is made specifically to your measurements or otherwise personalised to your requirements, the statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right that may apply to qualifying distance contracts may not apply.

This does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty, defective, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.

For full information regarding cancellations, please see our Returns & Refunds Policy.

11. Standard / Non-Bespoke Products

Where we supply products that are not made to your specific requirements or personalised for you, statutory cancellation rights may apply depending on the circumstances of the purchase.

Where such rights apply, we will provide the required cancellation and return information.

The applicable return arrangements may differ depending on the product.

12. Prices

Prices displayed on our website are shown in pounds sterling (£). Unless otherwise stated, prices include VAT where applicable.

Product prices may change from time to time.

However, where an order has been accepted at a particular price, we will normally honour the agreed price subject to the terms of the order.

If there is an obvious pricing or technical error, we reserve the right to contact you before fulfilling the order.

13. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges may apply to your order.

The applicable delivery charge will be displayed during the ordering process where available.

From time to time, promotional offers may provide free or reduced-cost delivery.

Where such an offer applies, the applicable terms will be displayed at the time of ordering.

Unless an offer specifically states otherwise, delivery charges are payable by the customer.

If the delivery address needs to be changed after the order has been placed, you must contact us as soon as possible.

A change of delivery address may not always be possible once delivery arrangements have been made.
